About
Hi. I'm Ryan.
I was born and raised in the bay area in California. I studied at the California Polytechnic University of San Luis Obispo, or Cal Poly SLO for short, with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Dance.
After graduating, I joined my friend’s company, Veriolite, where I was the iOS developer and product designer for project Chariot, an event-based ridesharing service (not to be confused with Ford’s Chariot service). I then joined ThriveStreams to work as the iOS developer for the goal-achievement platform of the same name. I later became cofounder after a pivot into the mental health space, where I worked on the iOS apps: ThriveTracker, ThriveSync, and the ThriveAI prototype. Furthermore, I’m a part of team Newdesto, a hackathon-esque team of friends where we experiment and build stuff.
Lastly, I’m a sometimes bboy. I don’t breakdance as much anymore, but I still get down when I step on a nice hardwood floor.
